Why I Became Interested In Metabolic Health
After more than 20 years in the fitness industry, I became increasingly frustrated that many people were still struggling with their weight despite counting calories, eating less and exercising more.
I decided to apply the principles of metabolic health to my own life.
Today, I'm lighter and leaner than I was at 26 years old.
My cravings have disappeared, my energy is stable throughout the day, and I no longer spend my life thinking about food.
I didn't achieve this by starving myself or endlessly counting calories.
I achieved it by improving my metabolic health.
By learning how my body responds to food, fasting, exercise and lifestyle habits, I was able to lose body fat, improve my energy and build a healthier relationship with food.
That's why I now help clients understand their own metabolism and create a personalised approach that works for their body and lifestyle.

Many of my clients come to me after years of dieting, calorie counting and repeatedly hitting weight loss plateaus.
By focusing on metabolic health rather than simply eating less, they are achieving results that had previously eluded them, while also reducing cravings, improving energy levels and developing a healthier relationship with food.
Most people focus only on calories, but factors such as blood sugar stability, insulin levels, stress, sleep and metabolic health can all influence how easily the body stores or burns fat.
Poor metabolic health is linked with issues such as weight gain, low energy, cravings, type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular disease, inflammation, reduced bone and muscle health and increased risk of cancer.
Rather than using generic dieting advice, this coaching takes a more personalised and data driven approach to understanding your metabolism.
Depending on your goals, we may use tools such as Continuous Glucose Monitoring and ketone testing to better understand how your body responds to food, fasting, stress and exercise.
You’ll receive ongoing coaching and support throughout the process, helping you make smarter decisions around nutrition, meal timing and lifestyle habits in a realistic and sustainable way.
