The big freeze is here for a while and still most of my clients are happy to train outside in the crisp fresh air! Studies have shown that you can burn more fat during a training session in the cold. You can help to combat S.A.D by getting more daylight, which help our bodies increase vitamin D and maintaini strong bones. Studies have also shown cold weather training to increase white blood cell counts – a stronger immune system is another benefit. Cold weather also helps stimulate the release of dopamine and serotonin, making you happier. So quick, take advantage of this great weather!
